First Day of School

Brycen is back to school at Mrs. Maida's house. He is a little sad that some of his favorite friends have moved on to Kindergarten. But he is already making new friends.
And yes, he goes in Pajamas and gets dressed at "school." This is his last year at Mrs. Maida's house. I know he will be sad but love being in a pre-k next year.

A Sneak Peek

We have finally been working on the nursery and we officially have names for the twins.
Braxton Carter Norwood and Blair Catherine Norwood will be here by November 2! So far I am doing pretty good and they are growing right on track.
My friend Helen had this bow holder made. I can't believe I will have a girl soon.

I am very excited about this curtain. It finally makes the room dark enough to sleep:)
Their bookcase (This will not be the lamp that stays in here)
Blair's bed- Thanks to my dad who repainted both cribs to match. They are perfect!
Braxton's Bed
When they are born we will put them in the same bed. Brad says there is no way Braxton will sleep on a pink sheet so it looks like they will use Braxton's crib together.

Three Year Old Soccer- Fall 2011

This year Brycen started Three Year Old Soccer. I can't believe he is getting so big. To be honest Brad was not excited about this adventure but Brycen and I were.

Brycen was listening to everything that Coach JD said. He would even run over to tell me and Brad what he said (like we couldn't hear). Brad asked Brycen do you remember the name of your coach and Brycen said no. Brad reminded him and Brycen said he said I can just call him Coach.
Brycen practicing his kicks to "Coach"
Do you like these shin guards? I mean leg guards- they cover so much. This soccer mom did not buy soccer socks. Oops! We will have them this week.

Colorado- Summer 2011

More than likely we will not be going to visit family in Colorado this Christmas so we took a summer trip.

Brycen was excellent on the plane both ways. After we loaded the hot and full plane in Tulsa we found out that Denver has closed their airport. We sat on the plane for two hours before even leaving. Brycen was a trooper!

We went to a farm in Fort Collins while we were there

Feeding the animals, helping the worker gather water for the chickens, and riding a tractor were all things Brycen enjoyed at the farm.

We also went to a go-cart/putt-putt place. Brycen LOVED this!

Saying cheese with Aunt Coreen and Daddy (Yes she is almost as tall as Brad)
Grandma Joni and Aunt Victoria
Golf with my Aunts
I love this picture but I am not sure why it is the wrong way! Grandpa John got down on his knee to get his picture with Brycen. Brycen did the same:)
Aunt Victoria and I took Brycen to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie. This was his second movie. He did much better this time. He is not a huge movie fan (gets that from Brad) and he asked when it was going to be over when it only had been on for ten minutes. I am glad it was a short movie.

I liked this picture of my two guys! We went to watch Coreen play Volleyball at a local college and I got this picture. Unfortunately I got no pictures of Coreen playing. Next time I will do that!
We had a great time seeing all of our family and we are so glad we got to go to Colorado this summer.

Babies

Today Brad and I went for an echocardiogram at UAMS for the twins. Technology is crazy! It was like skyping with a doctor. We were in Fayetteville with an ultrasound technician and the doctor was in Little Rock talking to the tech and then to us.

The report was overall good. The girl had no problems with her heart. There is a slight concern with the boy. It appears that he might have a bicuspid aortic valve (brycen currently has this). It could just be that the other flap is too small and can't be seen yet.

I will be able to have the babies here in Northwest Arkansas because this is a minor concern. Both babies will have echocardiograms through Children's Hosptial once they are born.

I am now 23 weeks pregnant. The goal is to make it to 36 weeks. My doctor will induce at 38 weeks if I haven't had them by then. That is the beginning of November. I am doing good. REALLY growing as you can see from the beach pictures. I guess that is what happens when you have two babies in your belly.
