A Babysitter????
We've had a very eventful past week. We started off by deciding on Sunday that Brycen was ready to sit through church, so instead of just one of us going, we braved it and all 3 went. You'll have to ask Christy how the sermon was. Brycen decided that after the offering was taken would be a good time to start crying. He and I went out to the lobby area to walk around and calm down a little. As we were talking with another parent and child and the crying was pretty much over, Brycen thought it would be a good time to BLOW OUT a diaper......so good that we had to change outfits (both of us!).
We spent most of the day yesterday learning to call the Hogs. He absolutely loves his Razorback Mobile. We definitely can't use it to put him to bed, it's for playtime only.

Then tonight, our friends Brent and Amy were so awesome and offered to babysit Brycen, while Christy and I went out to celebrate our 3rd anniversary alone. We had a great time, but missed the heck out of him. It was hard to leave him with a baby sitter that wasn't a grandparent. He had a wonderful time with Brent and Amy though, and tried to convince them that they should be parents too.

But the best news happened after we got home. I received an email today from Caden's family!!!!!! They left Children's on Father's Day (what a great Father's day) and have had computer trouble since they've been home. Caden has been back to the doctor and is doing great. He has to come back to Children's in August for an MRI and a Barium test to make sure everything is okay in his brain and vocal cords, but his mom says she can tell a difference in his vocal cords. He is growing like a weed and is doing well!!!!!! We will definitely keep in touch with them and update you as we find out information. Thank you to all who have continued to pray for Caden. God has shown that He is AWESOME through His work in these two boys!!

We had a wonderful 4th of July in Conway and managed to get a few pictures during the week as well.

Pictures and Progress
Brycen continues to show great progress and we are starting to realize that he really is becoming a "normal" boy. He still hasn't figured out day and night completely, but he's getting much better. He had the dreaded circumcision today and has expectantly been a little fussy but we were glad to know that he has gained even more weight and is now 9 pounds 2 ounces! Let's just hope he heals as quick as his heart did.
Daddy bought me a Razorback chair that's just like his big Razorback chair.
Who's that boy in the mirror??

I'm new here, but I've got it figured out! Eat, sleep and................

THE REST! What a life, huh?
Below are some pictures from over the past week.
When we went to Children's, we had to go back and see our favorite NICU nurse, Mrs Cydne!
