A Day Early

We decided to go to the Beach a day early with Rob, Laney, and Landon. We got a last minute condo, enjoyed eating out, the spray park, and swimming in the big pool before heading to our beach house.

Six Years

Happy 6 year anniversary!

This year Brad and I celebrated our 6th anniversary at the beach. We had an adult night out (thanks for all the family that watched Brycen). We ate outside at Harbor Docks and watched the boats come in and out while we ate (or stuffed our faces).
Six years ago I never would have thought we would be a family of five this year. I am sure we will have lots of laughs and cries (and probably some bickering) this next year. I thank God for everything he has blessed us with.

Cars (and not the movie)

Since we will soon be "The Norwood Family- Party of 5" we had to get a new car. Today we said bye to the old Honda. This has been such a good car! I will miss it. Brad probably will not be missing this (for the past year he has driven it to work cause the gas mileage is better in it).

Brad putting Brycen in the car one last time. I will never forget bringing Brycen home from Children's Hospital in this car about three years ago.

Looking SOOOO big in the car!

Here is our new car! We will adjust and be proud mini van owners. I have heard that once you have a mini van you will love it. It is the most practical car for our family with the babies coming.

Enjoying Summer

We have already done many fun things this summer!

Today we went to Jump Zone with our neighbor Ella. Brycen decided to dress himself today. He came out with his long sleeve Jump Zone shirt as he called it. I thought that was fine so he wouldn't get the rub burn on his elbows.

Here comes Ella!

Brycen's turn down the Pirate Slide!

When we went to Conway, mommy and daddy got a night out for Daddy's golf tournament. We enjoyed it. Brad won his flight so that made the golfing even better.

Grandpa and Brycen made a bird feeder. He has a new toolbox with real tools. He loves it! Brad brought him a board and he will hammer for hours. He says it is his work. Grandpa helped him make this bird feeder for his swingset.

While Brad was still working we had lots of Mommy and Brycen time. One beautiful cooler day we climbed in his tree house for a picnic lunch. He loved it!

I have really enjoyed B this summer. I am trying to do everything we can together (while resting some of course) before the babies make their arrival.

Fun in the Water

Swim, Swim, and more Swim

We had lessons at Swim Ranch again this year. Brycen is getting really good at doggy paddling. His kicks are also getting better. We are working on liking to get splashed in the face.

Getting ready for my swim bouy!

Swimming at Granny Lu's Pool!

Swimming at the Aquatic Center with Carrington and kids from mom's school.

The Aquatic Center Slide

Brycen loves the water. He would swim everyday if we would take him.

June 2011 Appointments

Our summer began with many appointments for Brycen.
We went to the allergy doctor. At first he thought the pricks were like tickles but soon he changed his mind. We found out that he is allergic to many tree types, dust mites, cats, small peanut allergy. He was very brave!

Waiting on the back to swell!

One of the finished products. It could have been way worse.

We also went to the Dentist. Dr. Roach did an excellent job with Brycen. First he watched me get my teeth cleaned. Then they counted his, brushed his, and just checked out his mouth. In six months he will get his first "cleaning."

June 2011

Well it is HOT and only the beginning of June. The last two weekends we have gotten some pool and family time in. It has almost been a hundred degrees.

Swimming by himself. While swimming Brycen said, "I am coming Granny, it just takes me a little bit."

Enjoying my new raft and shades.

How many buckets can I hold??

This is the perfect climbing tree. Grandpa is making sure I don't fall- Hehe!
