Happy Easter

We made a few "extra" Easter Eggs this year!
In November we are expecting not one but two babies!!!
After the initial shock (that lasted a few weeks) we are getting excited!

A lot of changes in our household will be happening this year. New job, new car (that we can all fit in), new childcare arrangements, and two new babies!

Getting ready to color our eggs or "paint" them as Brycen said.

Brycen really enjoyed dying the eggs this year.

Hanging out with cousin Landon on Easter and our Giggle Ducks from Nonnie!

Wilson Turns 3

Over spring break we went to Wilson's fire truck birthday party

Happy Birthday to Wilson! He doesn't "love" having his picture made so this was the best I got:)

We had a great time at our cousin's birthday party in Dallas. What a fun idea for a party!

Happy 60th Birthday Grandpa

Grandpa turned 60 in March and we all celebrated!
We had an adult night and a whole family bowling night!

(Yes I am a few weeks behind)

What has been going on?

It looks like I am behind on the blogging....again! We have been pretty busy the last few months.

Brycen made Valentine's for his friends at school

He LOVED getting packages on Valentine's Day

Brycen has been able to hang out with his cousins lately. Wilson has made a few trips to Arkansas.

Landon, Wilson, Brycen

One weekend we took Brycen to a train show. He loved ALL the trains. His favorites were the log train because it is like his Thomas long train and the steam engine.

We got to celebrate Grandpa's 60 birthday at Fast Lanes Bowling. The kids wanted to have a party with games. So bowling it was.

ALL the kiddos loving on their grandpa

The last thing that has been going on is a job change in our house. Next school year I (Christy) will be the assistant principal at Jones Elementary in Springdale. I am very excited and I know Brad will do a GREAT job of helping out more with Brycen. He already does a great job BUT we will not be trading off the drop offs and pick ups anymore.

Snow Week number 2

So we went to bed thinking we would have 3-5 inches of snow and we prayed we would only miss one or two days of school. Well the last I checked we had 19 inches and still snowing. I think they were a little off. This is just crazy.

This is an earlier picture. Will add another later

The snow on the deck

Brycen playing in the snow on the deck stairs

The path Brad made so Brycen could come off of the deck

Mr. Pat came by. He had to push the snow as he drove.

The snow is taller than Brycen's legs! He couldn't even walk without going in one of our paths.

More pictures will be posted soon

Snow Week (Continued)

Snuggling with mommy after playing outside

Brycen loves pulling his sled

Throwing snowballs in the yard. It was warmer Saturday so Brycen played hard outside all day.

Posing by the neighbors snowman

Trying out his scooter on the ice
Making snow ice cream for a snack. Brycen did not like it! Imagine that. He is not a fan of sweet things.

Brownie time - He wouldn't eat these either but he enjoyed cooking them

The truck kind of goes in the snow...
Playing with Landon in the snow
We were out of school Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We did get out and go have dinner with Aunt Laney, Uncle Rob, and Landon. The boys got to play a bit. Brad went into work most days but Brycen and I were home. We were ready to get out.

Snow Day... I mean Snow Week

This week we had 1/2 inch of ice covered with 5-8 inches of snow (depends on where you measure in the yard). The wind was so strong and the temperatures were bitter cold (-3, a record). And after watching the news tonight I learned we will get snow three more times this week. UGH!! I want to go to work!

Outside to measure the snow in the "Blizzard Like Conditions"

Let's make a snowball

Wow! It is deep

These snow drifts are deep!
